Homoeopathy
Homoeopathy is a science and its practice is an art. Patients are treated based on their individual symptoms rather than exclusively those of the disease. Research on homoeopathic medicine has been inadequate and requires new research methods and more funding. In India, homoeopathy is actively sought by many patients and it is one of the many recognized systems of health care provision in India. (Introduction of Homoeopathy | Ministry of AYUSH | GOI)
Homoeopathy is medicine not mystic magic. This statement is for both nonbelievers and those who prevaricate and make unscientific claims regarding this system of medicine. Homoepathy has been challenged time and again with non-believers signing off its remedial effects as those from a placebo. Some believers operate on the other extreme and make false claims such as immunization effects. There is a lot of space between these extremes and the scope of homoeopathy lies in between. It is inadequate to talk about medicine and not address health. Health is not merely the absence of disease. Health is continuous and healthy is a lifestyle. Our lifestyles are being taken over by a variety of selections from fads, virtual following and applications on electronic devices to obsessions about how we look and what we should eat. Give it a rest. Live your life without seeking information online. Trust your doctor. Remember, there is much more to your health than looking for the elixir of life. Even if there is one, you will not find it online.
